Dr. Praful Ramineni Preys On Vulnerable Young People and Mutilates Them for Money: Help Save Anthony

This one nefarious doctor alone performs over 100 penis amputations each year.

I met Eric and Jenny five years ago, when their son, Anthony,* announced at the age of 15 that he was actually a girl. Their pastor called Advocates Protecting Children to consult. “I’ve been a counselor for 30 years,” he said, “but I have no idea what to tell these parents.”

Gender ideology is a cult, and Anthony had become its latest recruit.

Last week, Eric reached out to me again. Now 20 years old, Anthony was scheduled for “bottom surgery” – an elective cosmetic procedure – in less than a week.

“Bottom surgery” for a male means that a surgeon cuts off the young man’s penis and testicles, and uses the remaining skin to fashion a fake vagina with a false vaginal canal that leads to nowhere. The procedure renders the patient infertile and incapable of experiencing sexual pleasure via the genitals. Young men who have been through this butchery also report incontinence, unrelenting foul odor, and constant pain, among other complications. Furthermore, they must use an insertion tool to dilate their “neovagina” regularly for the rest of their lives, because the so-called vaginal canal is actually an open wound that the body never stops trying to close.

But that’s not what Dr. Praful Ramineni tells his victims.

He claims that “vaginoplasty is a gender affirmation procedure that transforms the penile and scrotal tissue into a functional and aesthetic vagina.”

What does it mean for a vagina to be “functional”? According to the Cleveland Clinic, the “vagina is an important part of both your internal and external reproductive anatomy. It’s a powerful passage that plays a role in sex, menstruation, conception and childbirth.”

Dr. Ramineni’s faux vaginas do not participate in menstruation, conception, or childbirth, because they are constructed on men’s bodies, and men do not have uteruses from which to do any of the above. The only purpose of a faux vagina is to create a place for another man to insert his penis.

Vaginoplasties’ only purpose is sexual pleasure. And the pleasure does not belong to the man who has the faux vagina.

Here’s what one of Dr. Ramineni’s victims reports:

“I have 3 inches of depth, my vaginal canal is covered in granulated tissue, and it’s extremely painful to dilate. The function and appearance of my vagina is just completely messed up. And even worse, insurance won’t cover anything past a second revision. This was something the doctor lied about. He takes advantage of people and when he knows nothing can be done, he shoves you off. Stay away from this doctor.”

And another:

“I will never be the same... My awful experience with Dr. Ramineni will never be structurally improved. I checked him out after my situation and his educational training is so weak.”

Another of his male victims reports after having breast augmentation:

“I wanted to be honest, but also let the fire and rage from the pit of my stomach reside [sic] before I decided to post a review… I’m in major pain because of pockets of blood that needed to drain. I did all they said, and we hit a point where he removed the drains. But then came the real pain after. Apparently, he removed them too early. But these pockets weren’t going away. The suggestion? Take a razor blade to my own skin to give that pocket a release… I don’t at all recommend this doctor, because I never once felt like anything more than a paycheck.”

What else does Dr. Ramineni not tell his victims? Here’s what those who have had vaginoplasties would tell Anthony today:

“You will not have a functional genital. And trust me it's 100% better to have a functional genital then an artificial genital.” [source]

“The regular sex positions that work for a vagina, don't even work for a neovagina. I think many trans people also go into the operating theatre uninformed and if they have any info it’s info based on euphemisms and sugarcoating.” [source]

“I leak urine throughout the day... I can't leave the house without wearing a pad or an adult diaper, because I've completely soaked my pants several times with no warning whatsoever.” [source]

Eric and Jenny are fighting tooth and nail to keep their only son from being mutilated under Praful Ramineni’s prolific knife. (Ramineni boasts that he performs 100 vaginoplasties every year—that’s nearly one every three days.) They have filed for a temporary restraining order to prevent Ramineni from amputating their son’s penis, asking the court to recognize that Anthony is not mentally competent to consent to this surgery.

Any person who wants to have a healthy, functioning organ removed for aesthetic reasons is obviously unwell.

2.   Contact your congresspeople and ask them to step up and fight greed-fueled gender medicalization. Copy them this message or write your own:
